At Christ Uncensored House of Worship (CUHOW), we have always believed that the Church is not just a building—it’s a movement of people transformed by the love of God. Since our humble beginnings in a living room in Staten Island, CUHOW has been a home for those seeking faith, family, and a fresh encounter with God. And now, we are stepping into a new season as we return to a place that feels like home.
A Journey of Faith: From Living Room to Community Impact
CUHOW’s journey has been a testament to God’s faithfulness. What started as a small gathering in our pastor’s home quickly grew, and in 2018, we moved into PS 16 (195 Daniel Low Terrace) to create a space where lives could be transformed.
Then, in 2020, the world changed. The pandemic forced us to close our in-person services, leading us into an online season of ministry. While we adapted, streamed services, and found new ways to stay connected, we longed for the day we could gather again. That opportunity came in October 2020, when we moved to 77 Alaska Street.
For the past few years, we have poured our hearts into rebuilding and reaching our community, but we’ve also faced challenges. The 4 PM service time made it difficult for some to attend, and the location shift meant many of our original members were unable to return. We saw people move, transition, and struggle to reconnect—but through it all, we never lost sight of the vision God placed in our hearts.
A Homecoming: Returning to PS 16 & a New Service Time
Now, in 2025, we are returning to 195 Daniel Low Terrace (PS 16)—a place that once felt like home and now feels like God’s calling. After months of fasting, prayer, and seeking wisdom, our Pastors and ultimately our church believe this is the right step for CUHOW. More than just a move, this is a mission: to reach the people of St. George, Staten Island, and create a life-giving church community in this area once again.
With this move comes another exciting change: our Sunday services will now be at 11:00 AM! This shift allows more people to attend, including families who couldn’t make it to an afternoon service.

⏰ New Service Time: Sundays at 11:00 AM (Doors open at 10:30 AM)
