CUHOW, Christ Uncensored House of Worship is a welcoming, non-denominational Christian church located in the heart of Staten Island. Our mission is to reach everyone we can with the good news of Jesus Christ, that they may walk in the abundant life God has for them. Loving God, Loving People, Loving Life.
We believe in creating a church in Staten Island where everyone feels loved, accepted, and empowered to grow in their faith.
Our church has been an integral part of the Staten Island community for 10 years. We approach giving back and supporting people in three unique ways; globally, locally and internally. Globally, we contribute to multiple missions outside of the U.S so that more people can come to know Jesus.
On a local level we are committed to serving our neighbors through annual events like our Back to School Bash and Easter Extravaganza Egg Hunt where we see upwards of 700 people per event, giving them food, school supplies, easter bags, raffles and much more. We also partner with other organizations in Staten Island like Celebrate Hope Recovery Center, a non-profit working to get individuals clean from addiction through the life-giving power of Jesus. Our goal is to be a source of hope, healing, and inspiration for people from all walks of life.

Internally we assist our direct community with a congregational relief fund called Helping Hand. This is meant for times of crisis if an individual or family is in need of funding for things like, helping pay a bill, getting food on the table etc. We help support in their time of need as best as we can.
All of this is done through the generosity of those who partner with our church when tithing and giving their offerings.
The Dream Team: Our Dedicated Volunteers
At the core of our church’s mission is our incredible team of volunteers, affectionately known as the Dream Team. These dedicated individuals are the lifeblood of our community, selflessly giving their time and talents to make a positive impact. With over 40 members, the Dream Team represents a diverse group of people united by a shared passion for serving God and others. Our dream team is composed of people of all walks in life, ranging in age from almost 70 to 15 years old.
From organizing inspiring worship services in our Staten Island Christian Church to planning unforgettable events, the Dream Team plays a crucial role in creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere at Christ Uncensored. Their commitment to excellence is evident in every aspect of their work.
Not only do they serve at our 4 PM service, but they come in early to set up the space and set the atmosphere. We also have teams that serve outside of a Sunday, connecting to new and existing members, editing, outreach, youth groups and more.
The Impact of the Dream Team
The Dream Team's contributions have had a profound impact on our church and the Staten Island community. Their efforts have reached over 3,000 people and families through our events that give back to our community. Through their commitment to our church we have baptized over 50 lives in the last 2 years alone, with baptisms occurring four times a year.
